A circular-economy venture in development · Qatar

Organic resources. A more useful future.

SAMAD ARD is developing an accountable way to recover source-separated commercial food residuals and turn suitable material into tested soil products for local agriculture and landscaping.

Measured recovery. Practical circularity. Local relevance.

BUILT AROUND FOUR COMMITMENTS

Commercial discipline
Operational control
Measured material flows
Local agricultural relevance
01 / THE NATIONAL CONTEXT

A national circular challenge.
A practical commercial role.

Qatar has already invested in material recovery and set ambitious food-waste and sustainability priorities. SAMAD ARD aims to complement—not replace—existing systems with accountable, source-separated commercial recovery.

34,000+ tCompost produced by Qatar's Waste Treatment Center in 2025. This is production, not sales.
45%Municipal waste diverted from landfills in 2025, as reported by the Ministry of Municipality.
50%National annual food-waste reduction objective reported under Qatar's Third National Development Strategy.

Sources: Qatar News Agency (6 October 2026) and Qatar Government Communications Office / NDS3. These are national indicators, not SAMAD ARD performance or contracted demand. Food-waste prevention takes precedence over recovery.

02 / THE MODEL

Recovery is a system,
not just a machine.

A reliable service begins at the source and only ends when the recovered material has been processed, checked and directed toward a suitable use.

SAMAD ARD / RECOVERY LOOP01—06
SAMAD ARD

One accountable loop.
From source to soil.

Designed for traceable recoveryQATAR
01

Separate at source

Work with participating sites to separate eligible organic materials from general waste.

02

Collect and record

Plan pickups, manage bins, check contamination and document accepted material.

03

Process and cure

Apply controlled composting and a distinct curing stage, subject to technical and regulatory validation.

04

Test before release

Assess finished batches against applicable registration and quality requirements.

05

Supply soil users

Develop practical bulk products for relevant farms, landscapers and other suitable buyers.

06

Report what matters

Return clear collection, acceptance and recovery records without unsupported impact claims.

03 / WHO WE SERVE

Two sides of a more useful cycle.

The proposed model brings commercial organic-waste generators and end users of soil products into one accountable recovery chain.

FOR FOOD BUSINESSES & INSTITUTIONS

Organics recovery as a managed service

Source-separation support, scheduled collection, contamination feedback and understandable recovery reporting—without asking every site to own a composting system.

Hotels · Caterers · Central kitchens · Food retailers · Institutions

FOR AGRICULTURE & LANDSCAPING

Soil products developed for local applications

A planned product stream of tested compost and, later, differentiated formulations informed by practical agronomic needs and Qatar-specific trials.

IMPORTANT

SAMAD ARD is in development. Collection services and soil products are not yet commercially available. Early discussions help validate the operating and product design.

04 / INNOVATION

Innovation begins
with evidence.

Composting is established technology. Our development ambition is to connect operational decisions, material traceability and product quality so that each becomes measurable and improvable.

Proposed technology roadmap — not a claim of existing proprietary software, a deployed MVP, patents or validated agronomic benefits.

01
PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT

Trace material from collection to batch

Develop a simple site-to-collection-to-processing record that connects accepted mass, contamination, batches and verified outputs.

02
PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT

Use process data to improve operations

Record moisture, aeration, temperature, water, energy and product results to support more consistent and efficient processing.

03
PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT

Validate products for arid soils

Work toward controlled farm and laboratory trials examining product quality, salinity and practical soil performance in local conditions.

05 / DEVELOPMENT ROADMAP

Built in stages.
Validated before scale.

01CURRENT FOCUS

Validate

Customer volumes and pricing, product demand, technical input and regulatory/site pathways.

02PLANNED GATE

Design

Independent engineering review, equipment quotations, site specification and evidence-linked financing.

03PLANNED GATE

Establish

Secure relevant approvals and capital, construct the facility, recruit and commission safely.

04PLANNED GATE

Operate & learn

Build reliable service economics, release tested products and develop improvements using operational evidence.

Capacity, timeline and investment are subject to permitting, engineering, customer contracts and financing—not announced commitments.

06 / ABOUT THE VENTURE

A practical answer
to a local resource challenge.

SAMAD ARD takes its name from Arabic words associated with compost and land. The venture is being designed in Qatar to connect suitable food-sector residuals with accountable recovery and productive soil applications.

It is being developed with an emphasis on operational discipline, credible environmental reporting and partnerships that make commercial and agricultural sense.

07 /

SAMAD ARD Circular Partner

A future participating-site recognition programme for commercial customers that separate eligible organic material and maintain measured recovery records. It is not a government endorsement, an independent environmental certification or an emissions-offset claim.

Concept only. No participating sites have been awarded this mark; trademark, eligibility and reporting governance would be completed before activation.

08 / LET'S CONNECT

Help shape a
better recovery system.

We are engaging potential customers, soil-product buyers, technical specialists, site partners and aligned investors as we validate the first facility.
